Can anyone help me come up with a simple and tasteful layout for this myspace thingamajiga? God I feel so old. I made an HTML page back in the days you had to scour the net for your background, your icons, for all of it - now it's just plug-n-play everything. Yeesh. Anyway, I don't even know where to begin! Someone got an idea?

Thanks :)

well, just find go to pimp my page pro or something. or just go to my myspace and click on where it says "i edited my page with thomas myspace editor v3.6" then u just pick out what colors u want, what background, text, etc. or u can even get a pre-made layout from http://myspace.nuclearcentury.com/

Yeah, those suggestions are great, and you can also edit your contact table. I used contacttables.com and it's a great site-lot's of great things to use on your page.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

And for some basic myspace profiles...CreateBlog has some great ones: http://createblog.com/

I made my layout using http://www.mygen.co.uk/. I used my own picture for the background that I designed myself, and I also made some of these for my friends: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v64/DayDay/Siggys/. My background is obviously Harry Potter related, but I can help with something else too if you want. I suggest you start with a collage or something, and go from there. Hope this helps!

If you would rather not have anything too complex...pimpwebpage.com is one of the best (sometimes, you have to refresh the site a number of times for it to properly come up).  If you would like a simple picture..like something from a family get together, LeakyMug, when you met Jo...just copy the URL and that can be you background.  Easy and simple..the best way to go.  You can also add fonts and colors for borders and text along with your picture.  Good luck!

I've found that http://www.freecodesource.com/index.php?page=myspacegenerators/index has a variety of things to choose from.  There are music generators, video generators, etc.  I even used it to play radio on my profile.  Enjoy!

I agree with everyone here. Most of the editors out there will also allow you to simply put in the link to the pictures you have at Leaky or even host any picture you upload to it then give you the link to put in the editor. I agree it has gotten easier. If you want to do some HTML yourself you can use Netscape composer 7 (I love it).If I remember correctly you have a Mac so you can get that download HERE.You are doing great with it so far. You got what is important on there (lol PotterCast woot!!) Here is the one I used Mytheme for mine. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any ?s. Thanks for all your time to make our love of Harry Potter that much sweeter.

I'm pretty good with html/css and I have a friend who is brilliant at graphic design.  If you'd like, I can make you a custom layout for your profile (and, depending on how you want it to look, maybe get his help with the graphics.)

Happy belated birthday!
