ISMS VOLUNTEER

The ISMS is in need of volunteers to help us prepare for the 2008 Soul Music Summit, September 12th & 13th in Atlanta, GA. This year's conference will be held at the Atlanta Renaissance Downtown Hotel.

All volunteer scheduling and planning will begin immediately. Please send an email requesting inclusion on the volunteer staff to soulmusicsummit@gmail.com


Each year, the enthusiasm, commitment and hard work of volunteers enable the ISMS to pursue its mission of taking Good Music to the next level.

WHAT DO VOLUNTEERS DO?

There are two different types of ISMS volunteer crews: Conference and Music Production. Volunteers must specify a first and second choice. Each type requires a substantial time commitment, so we do not allow you to work both.


CONFERENCE VOLUNTEERS

Conference Crews operate throughout the 2 days of the summit. Their responsibilities can include registration, staff assistance, transportation, hospitality, and much more.

Conference volunteers must commit to work at least 5 hours a day during the event. Conference Volunteers are eligible for all summit events, some of which include panel discussions, seminars, and evening musical events.


EVENT PRODUCTION VOLUNTEERS

Music Production crews operate Friday and Saturday at the Summit's late night events. Event crews usually operate for approximately four hours each night, although the Special Venues crew also has daytime shifts available...Music Production Volunteers must commit to working 2 consecutive nights during the conference.
