Current mood: mellow
Well I still think Facebook is better. Myspace doesn't have pokes, and it's filled to the brim with spam!
I'm not a bloggy person, but I thought I'd write something at rather decent length, so here goes:
I redid my myspace after about a year of stuff not being current. Plus it looks mucho cooler. I've taken up longboarding, one of the most mellow (and intense) sports i've even done, on par with that of snowboarding. I've been playing piano more nowadays, getting sheet music and memorizing songs. So far I have about a dozen songs under my belt, including "The Scientist," "Trouble," "Brick," "Politik," and "Mad World." Seeing as the majority is Coldplay, I'm still avidly awaiting information on their 4th album.
Their website is currently shutdown! *gasp* But they threw a sticky note (literally) up declaring that they are redesigning their website and they will be back "very soon, love Coldplay." SUPPOSEDLY the new redesign will theme their next album, which I'm guessing will be released before the end of the year. w00t! I'm verily interested in their "new sound" they have, apparently adopting a bit of "electronic feel." Brian Eno is producing it with them, and I'm no expert, but apparently he does a great job at inspiring bands to find emotion. Not that Coldplay needs much improvement, lol. If they lose the piano for their 4th album I'll probably throw myself into a pit. Thankfully i very much doubt that will happen. It's actually impossible, their foundation is piano. ;D
This is already longer than I thought it would be, but whatever, I'm bored and ranting.
My recent internship at Ogunquit Playhouse has been very intense so far, but i'm enjoying it. Hopefully I can get all my work done Thursday so I can get work off Friday and Monday because I have a visitor...
Which brings me to a different topic, starting with an R, ending with an N and can either be filled with Y or H. Oh and a vowel, A. It all started when I went up to UMaine with Sean to visit Nick and Max. It was very funnnn. There was a certain girl whom I seemingly got along with well, and I left for home thinking about 'er. ;P Anyway, we ended up talking online and such that next week and I went up to visit another 2 times before they all went home for the summer. They had finals that week so I kind of felt like I was intruding, but it was nice to just hang out with everyone. Here's the kicker! She lives in NY. -_- Not the 4 hours to NY, but the South-of-Rochester-about-8-to-9-hours-away kind of NY. Convienient much?
Despite that, she's uber cool and coming to visit in a couple days. I confess I'm quite excited~
Ok this friggin blog is embarrassingly long and I'm sick of how much time I've been on Myspace. Battle on the poke-war battlefield ensues, I must return.
I hope everyone who reads this is doing very well and enjoying their summer, unless you are a bot and are going to leave me a beautiful message informing me about how I can get a PS3 for free by clicking on some whack site called omgseriouslyclickhereandgetcoolshithahawtfsnow.com (I am interessed in the PS3 however, call me and we'll work something out.)
=D
