"Ghost at Number One"...that's the song that made me a Jellyfish fan in the first place! A truly amazing song.

I would have to say that it's a tie between two. I really love New Mistake but Brighter Day is amazing as well. I can't choose just one.

"King Is Half Undressed" acoustic on the boxed set and not just because they used my tape. Simple and you can really hear the harmonies. For me, nothing beats it.

It's impossible to pick one song out of those two albums and say "This is my favorite Jellyfish song"
It's like asking a parent (with lots of children) which child do you love the most?
It's impossible and something I'm not really comfortable in answering.
How do I choose a fantastic song like "All is Forgiven" over something as amazing as "The King is Half Undressed" ???

I just wish they'd get back together to record another album, so we didn't have to listen to all these shitty new groups who are around today.

Long Live Jellyfish!

I can’t exactly remember which particular song it was, but it was the one you and the Black Crowes jammed to and the end of the show when you were touring with them years ago back in Houston at the old Unicorn Ballroom. It was pretty damn awesome...

Off of Bellybutton: Bedspring Kiss
Off of Spilt Milk: All is Forgiven into Russian Hill (gotta have both - they go together)
Live: The King is Half Undressed
Best live cover: No Matter What
It's so hard to narrow down favorites with Jellyfish. I love everything those guys put out there.

Gosh, this is a hard one.

I remember buying "Bellybutton" at the Age of 17 (almost 20 years ago...yikes), primarily b/c of the coolness of the cover (C'mon 70's clothes, wicked cool). At that point in time, I was a metal girl (Poison, Skid Row, yes, I'm embarrassed just writing that comment), and Jellyfish was the FIRST band to take me away from that music.

"Bellybutton" was such a crossover album, it is difficult to pick JUST one...I'll have to say, "The King is Half Undressed" (the drums...titillating!).

Then “Spilt Milk” came out...I made sure to learn all the words...and learn to sing EXACTLY like Mr. Sturmer and Mr. Manning...bless their beings. On this album, again, a hard one...and I'll have to pick three-"Joining a Fan Club", Sabrina" (love the mania involved in it) and "Ghost of Number One".

Jellyfish has had such a HUGE impact on my singing, the musical <myspace>style</myspace> I try to incorporate in my band, and I truly don't think I'd sing the way I do (power, inflection, story telling lyrics) if it weren't for them.

Sorry about the diatribe, just trying to pass some time until the clock says "5".

Much love to all.

Music is life, is love, and is TRULY unity.

Namaste,

/p.a.m. (singer of boon)

Both albums are brilliant; I would have to say 'He's My Best Friend' off Bellybutton (the best and cleverest song I've ever heard about self-pleasuring) and 'Sebrina Paste and Plato' off Spilt Milk. It always puts me in a good mood (or a better one if I'm already there) with the fail-safe key of D Major. Both songs have incredible arrangements, hilarious lyrics and beautiful harmonies. Could I kiss ass any more?
