Nicaraguan Court Violates the Law Again

The three Sandinista judges that are trying to convict Eric again.

Rafael Solís                   Alba Luz Ramos              Yadira Centeno

Nicaraguan Supreme Court violates due process again in Eric's Case. A hearing was held on Nov 17, 2008 in a rogue effort to overturn the ruling of NOT GUILTY by the anti-American judges presiding. The courtis given 30 days (as stated in the Nicaraguan Penal Code) to announce a verdict.  It has been almost two months with no formal opinion insight. This morning the court told Eric's attorney they don't even know where the case file is!!

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied. Eric is considering appealing to a higher court. We will share details as we we learn more...

Thank You
Liz

This just goes to show that racism and disparity is still alive and well in the legal system. A normal, unbiased judge would have let it go already despite his/her personal opinion.

Saludos y abrazos.

Eric, you keeping this public is part of God's plan... to help the people as a whole thru your persecution. You are a brave soldier within this effort and our merciful Lord gives you only what you can bare... so that your strength will testify before all men as to his justice and righteousness. He will provide you with every grace you require and sustain you when you are weak. May you have peace in your soul as your enemies plan your demise. For God does not abandon his own. Whether you stray or stumble, his plans cannot be foiled. Even in your darkest hours, he sees the time of your enemies defeat. He will bring you honor and blessings. My prayers for you will continue.

Penetrating so many secrets,
we cease to believe in the unknowable.

But there it sits nevertheless,
calmly licking its chops.

OMG!!!! will this finally end.... the Nicaraguan government needs to let this go and stop these judges from overturning the American judges ruling. Stay strong and keep positive in the future.

If I were you, I would just stay out of that country and just put the whole thing in God's hands. They are only doing this to frustrate you and cause you to spend more money senselessly...You won...Don't they believe in double jeopardy?

Soy nicaraguense y debo aceptarsi duda que dificilmente encontraria un sistema judicial tan corrupto como el nuestro.

Bien por Erick, que el solo hecho de haber caidos en las garras de estos delicuentes te hacen casi un heroe.

Justice won't be served, so it seems there should be a place where Eric can go and live in peace. Sad.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING.

I THINK IT'S NOT ONLY UNJUST BUT COMPLETELY UNBELIEVABLE...
HOW MANY TIMES DO THEY WANT TO BRING THIS INTO COURT BEFORE THEY UNDERSTAND THAT YOU COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS!!
IF THIS WERE TO OF HAPPEND HERE IN AMERICA, YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND NOT GUILTY AND THE POLICE WOULD BE LOOKING FOR THE ONE WHO DID IT!
WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE?!
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THE "INNOCENTS PROJECT" HASN'T BEEN ABLE TO HELP ...DON'T THEY HELP THOSE WHO ARE WRONGLY CONVICTED?!
IF MY MEMORIE SERVES ME CORRECTLY, DIDN'T YOU SPEND A BUNCH OF TIME LOCKED UP FOR THIS ALREADY?!
I THOUGHT THIS WAS OVER FOR YOU ERIC, I'M SAD THAT YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS ALL OVER AGAIN.

I WISH THE BEST FOR YOU ERIC, FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
I HOPE THAT ONE DAY THEY WILL LEAVE YOU ALONE AND THE FAMILY OF THE YOUNG WOMAN WHO LOST HER LIFE CAN FIND OUT WHO TOOK THEIR LOVED ONE FROM THEM SO THAT EVERYONE INVOLVED CAN HAVE CLOSURE!
MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU...GOD BLESS!
YOUR FRIEND
