Alright, so the other day I was just minding my own business, messing around on myspace and listening to a band called Anti-Flag; some of you may be familliar. Well I was rockin' out to a song called F*ck the Flag and F*ck You. Obviously, an anti-politic/America song. Well, my red neck, republican, "all American" step dad, over heard the song, and completely freaked out. He began to argue with me about the song, saying that it wasn't right that I listen to it and that I was wrong for rockin' out to a good God Damn song. I was ready to defend myself and state my argument, when I realized something, the only reason he was angry was because I shared different views than him. Now, Don't get me wrong, I like America as much as the next kid, but I'm no Patriot. And right now, lets just face the facts, our Country is going to Hell in a hand basket, complete with a cute little note from Obama titled: "F U America." Again, I don't want you freakin' out because I don't like Obama, and don't any of you dare throw out the race card. I believe Obama is a real amateur, he's not ready to lead an entire country. So you can argue if you want, but why don't you just own up to the fact that it's true, what has he done for our country? Hmm...well I'm not going to discuss politics, I hear enough of it from the Step Tard. My point is, we live in America, Land of the Free. Has everyone lost sight of that? I mean if a band in oh, say, Britain, made a song called "F*ck the Queen and F*ck You, They'd be in some serious damn trouble. Anti-Flag creates songs about America suckin' everyday, you know what they get? Sold out concerts and a huge following of young anarchists, who aren't afraid to speak their mind and gain their OWN DAMN point of view. Which brings up another good point I've been meaning to rant about. The Step Tard has a fun new word he learned from being on Fark.com. (Nothing against Fark, the website f*ckin rules!) But of course he's been yelling it for almost 2 months like he's a little kid who just learned how to say hippopotamus from Sesame Street. The word is Sheople. Sheep+People=Sheople. I'm not going to explain the joke, If you've got a brain you can click it together. Well he's spouting Sheople around constantly, using it in every conversation, well here's the funny part. Step Tard has never, ever given me his own personal opinion on anything. If I were to ask him, "What do you think of Obama?" He would reply, "Well, today I read blah blah blah on MSN News!" Hm...right...Dare I say it? Sheople. American can think right? At least I hope we can. It seems that no one can be original whether it deal with important political views to simple fashion designs. Where has our freedom gone? We've destroyed it, America, fucking destroyed it.
