FEATURE:
Why Nitpickers Are Ruining My Childhood by Mike
"
I honestly think film critic’s well-practiced and self-aggrandizing cynicism is affecting the general public. Nobody goes to a movie to watch a movie anymore, just to pick it apart. Suspension of disbelief is a crucial component to enjoying a film, and really it’s getting harder and harder to create an image that our minds will latch onto and accept. this problem has gotten worse with film critics gleefully pointing out every. single. flaw. You can’t be cynical and still let yourself fall into a story. it just doesn’t work."

REVIEW: Justin Does Daywatch
"
People from both sides want the CHALK OF FATE and Anton tries to reunite with his son and then there’s a birthday party where Anton gets stoned and stuff is happening and if I keep typing in run-on sentences that’s because this entire film feels like a giant run-on sentence with no subject, verb, or point."

READER REVIEW:
penguinslovedw Does The Beast Must Die
"This is a movie that is almost made to be argued over. While some of you will agree with me, I can guarantee that some will think it’s schlock, albeit well-made schlock."

REVIEW:
Drew Does Futurama: Into the Wild Green Yonder
"
If you’re a diehard Futurama fan, you probably already own this DVD and are mentally composing your rebuttal to me this very moment. (Remember, it’s getbent@whinyfanboy.com.) But if you’re a more casual fan who was thinking of maybe picking up one a them DVD movies and wants to know which to choose, hopefully this answered your question- it’s Yonder."

REVIEW: Justin Does Jumper
"I know Christensen is trying hard to distance himself from the Star Wars-only image most folks have for him, but this vapid special effects fest wasn’t the best of moves. Plus, appearing in a movie to battle Samuel L. Jackson is only going to make people think “Woo! Darth Vader versus Mace Windu!”"
