Well, here goes. I'm jumping off the myspace cliff. Friends (the real kind... the ones who own a couch I could sleep on) have been begging me to put up a myspace for 3 years. My answer? I just don't need another social obligation. You see, I believe friends are flesh and blood. If I want to hang out with friends I'd rather go out to dinner or to a concert or coffee shop with them. Real human connection. Imagine that.
And then I go and open a studio. A studio that I am infinitely proud of. One where real music is being created... not that plastic kind you hear on Clear Channel. A place that has vibe. A place where artists can come and get lost in their creativity. And I want the world to know.
So I find myself jumping off this cliff. I can't tell you how much I anticipate all those cute emoticons and 14-year-old issues. But I'll do anything to let the world know about this studio. We make records. Real ones. The kind you can't take out of your player. The kind of tracks that bore into your head and get stuck there for days. Earthy. Rich. Human.
