Current mood:  lonely
made you look.

to all the people that have requested songs. well done. i am taking notes and attempting to learn the songs so it feels like a proper party time now... i will not let you down (but just in case i do don't sue me please).

i'd like to also add that if you do so desire and want to request a song from any of my three albums then don't be shy, who knows, i might actually like one of my songs enough to play it? i would go as far to say that you could arrange my set list for the night but bic already did that for the last winery tour show and also my band would hate me if we had to play all the songs from thinking room all night x

just to let you know that i still live in mebourne(which is the best) and it's real fun coming back to visit lil' ole' nz.. you guys are such losers... jokes. not.

and another thing......

Are we allowed to request Running to her? Please?

I second this notion.

I also second the Martha Wainwright and ESPECIALLY the Celine Dion one, from the previous blog.

How many beers would that take, eh?

...note the sarcasm.

Pretty sure Mags only mentioned that for my benefit as we've had quite a few giggles over that song.

not that my oppinion matters all that much...but in the small chance some of this shall make it on to youtube...
heh.

OH HEY, you know what else would be fantastical? since it's common knowledge that Australian pop music sucks a big one, you should do a Veronicas parody...ha, I can hear it now "buu-uuu-uttch, butch me up..." ("Hook Me Up", assuming you've heard it, yeah? don't know what rock you could've been hiding under to not've heard that song, especially since you're all big and bad, living in Aus now...)

sending love and belated birthday wishes your way x

I LOOKED.

...you'd break my heart in all of the best ways if you played "God In His Culture" in Invervegas, but I could live with "Standing In This Fire." OH HOW I WOULD LIVE WITH IT.
:D

...have you been to the zoo in Melbourne? Last time I went there, the goddamn meerkats refused to come out to play and the wombats gave me a concussion. Good times! I need to go back to Lygon Street sometime. Mmm, gelato...

Ok my last request was probably a little out there. But I have been giving it a lot of thought and would really like to hear you sing When I Grow Up by Mahinarangi Tocker. It would be a great tribute to her life and body of work and you could do wonderful things with the song.

Can't wait to hear it in CHCH!

How about Somewhere over the Rainbow by Iz? I think a chick version of this beautiful song would be wicked.

I hope NZ on air funded the porn video :-)
Stay cheeky Anika and don't stay in Australia for too long!
Don't add any Rolf Harris songs to your setlist.

Chur.
