....So as we made our way westward it became more and more evident that summer was in fact beginning to bid farewell....sad but true.
Winnipeg was one of my favourite shows of the tour, after meeting the awesome dudes from ampedup.tv and doing an interview filled with beer, bro's, buses and bums we proceeded to express our rock n roll expression all over the keeners who turned up on a....Wednesday night?? Someone tell me what day it is!!!
Onwards for an overnight drive to Saskatoon...Johns home town!! John and I met up with the good people from ROCK 102FM, cheers for the support guys!!
We had a great show in Saskatoon, I had my wireless system back so I could pay Scott our sound dude a visit mid-set.
Onwards to Edmonton...home of our good friends "Social Code!!" (who, as it turned out, stood us up for Oasis tickets!! hmmmpf!! ;) I'm sure they sucked. lol
The show was held at the Events Centre at the West Edmonton Mall...which, for those who werent aware....IS the biggest mall in North America and the fourth biggest in the world!! Our day was filled with seal shows, pirate ships, tenpin bowling, video games (spacies!!!), water parks and food court food!!! MMMmmmmm....interview with punktv.ca - Cheers for the support dudes!! Muchos respectos!!
Just as we were leaving the bus to head into the venue we were treated to a spectacular electrical storm. Constant lightning and no thunder lit up the skyline 180 deg. around us. SUPERCHARGED!!!!
The Edmonton show turned out to be quite the display also. Probably the most high energy exchange all tour, coupled with the total munter douchebag in the front row who proceeded to spit on John and Luke during our set...the favour was returned somewhat despite any assistance from the "security" in the front row. Top work gents!! lol. We had a great time in Edmonton, we'll be back for sure.
I had to leave the group and fly into Vancouver to meet up with my Dad who flew in from New Zealand to see our last 2 shows of the Canadian Tour. An awesome reunion to say the least, Airbourne is one of his favourite bands so he totally lost it when Steve our tour manager took him backstage to watch their set from the side. Their head tech gave him a set list and a couple of guitar picks....a totally awesome experience for both of us. Vancouver kicked ass!! We spent the day hiking up Grouse Mountain then rocked on into the night after the show. Fell asleep on the bus in the AM and we rolled on to the ferry over to Vancouver Island for the last show of the tour. We played Sugar Night Club. It was the smallest show of the tour but we still smashed it and had fun hanging out with friends, old and new. BC Rules!!

Kudos must go out to everyone who came out to the shows, rocked out with us, bought our cd and merch and joined us in fighting the good fight....rock n roll revolution baby!! It's a pleasure to be sharing the stage with the Airbourne lads. They are top dudes and we are super stoked to be rocking across the Northern Hemisphere with them....bring on the UK/Europe Tour!!!

We're back in Toronto now, we have a couple of days off before beginning our US tour on the 12th in North Hampton, MA. Looking forward to hooking up with the Bang Camaro crew and demolishing these shows across the US of A!!! We'll keep you posted of our adventures as they unfold.

Revolutions and Riffs....

The thought of you all running around in the mall is enough for me, but all the rest sounds great too. So cool that your dad flew all the way over to see you play :) Keep it rocking!

I was at the Wicked show in Winnipeg as well. I think my ears rang for four days man! I must say pretty sweet tour busses in the back lane. I was talking to John before the concert as he noticed me at the Reagle Beagle lounge wearing his brother Todd..s "Go time" tour shirt.Good to see him again as I went to every single Age OF Electic show here. Top notch to you guys and The Parlor Mob for meeting everyone after the show in the front lobby.
