POLLYANNA COWGIRL RECORDS PODCAST (PCOWpodcast)  Many of you might recall I did a series of podcasts near the end of 2007.  I took a break from that for a while, but I plan on soon getting my feet wet again in the podcasting world.  So for now, I've re-uploaded the 14 "old" PCOWpodcast shows, including the interview I did with Donnette Thayer (show 012).  Look for a new show in a week or so.  But until then, enjoy some of my favorite musical discoveries!  www.pcowpodcast.com

UPCOMING PROJECTS 

--The ALS charity CD, "Songs for Jenny", should have all of the songs submitted for it around the end of March 2008.  There will be much work left to do regarding artwork, mastering, manufacturing, and so on, but I'm excited to finally be close to a new phase with this CD.  The submissions so far are outstanding, and this truly will be a special CD, for many reasons.  For more about the "Songs for Jenny" project and to pre-order a CD:  www.songsforjenny.com

--Soon available should be the VOLUMES Sampler CD from Heyday Records, a collection of original work by artists influenced by The Church, which I helped put together.  I'll let you know when and where that is available!

--I'm in the midst of working on a new RUBACUORI (instrumental TP) CD, to be called "Tiger Ocean".

--I've written a lot of new lyrics this year, and right now I'm (sort of?) planning on a triple CD.  Of course, I'm curious as to what will be the end product of that!  You see, in late 2006 I had a triple CD project going, collectively titled "Incoherence", and that eventually became my two latest CDs, "Mannequins in Motion" and "Sunshine Prayer", along with a b-side CD called "Nothing But the Best of Days".  But the great thing is I've been playing a lot of acoustic guitar, eventually planning on gigging a lot later this year, and in the process I've written several new songs...so, it's sort of "charming" for me to be doing music the old-fashioned way, instead of putting together digital puzzles.

--for those of you who only briefly stopped by my new ReverbNation page, please stop by again, I've uploaded a lot of songs, most of which can be downloaded only through being a "fan", i.e. fan exclusive tracks!  Have some free PucciPop, people!

--the "at cost" price offer on my poetry books has been extended through the end of March.  Of course, that's another way for me to admit I don't feel like updating my order page, but what a deal for you!  Seriously, they'll never be this cheap again.

This week I present a very special extended collabocast edition of The Chillcast with the help of my 16 of my fellow music podcasters. This is by far the biggest podcast project I've put together to date and I am really proud of how well it turned out. This episode was inspired by an email from my listener, Nik, from Northern Illinois University. I'll explain more in the show intro… Its been a very intense year for many of us and I really appreciate the outpouring of love and support from everyone that I've received and wanted to share some of that love with Nik and his friends, as well as Tony Pucci and his family, and many others who I've spoken with privately in recent weeks but won't call out by name… Thank you so very much to all of the podcasters and bands who participated, and if you didn't get a chance to collaborate this time around, don't worry, this won't be the last collabocast I do!
