Some kid on myyearbook, when asked what genres of music he liked and which he didn't, answered:

"Black Metal, Heavy Metal, Trash Metal, Death Metal, Blackened Death Metal, and
Symphonic Black Metal

hate: emo, screamo, metalcore, deathcore"

Maybe I'm just not as into music but, Black Metal and Blackened Death Metal and Symphonic Black Metal all sound the same as well as Death Metal, Blackened Death Metal and deathcore (which you will notice he doesn't like...) and every single one of the genres he likes are Metal, but he can't stand metalcore.
ITS ALL METAL, YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT AND YOU'RE NOT FOOLING ANYONE BY PRETENDING YOU DO. Maybe you do like all those, but no one else really knows what they are. Say metal, we'll get it.
I understand like grungecore, death metal and stuff, but when you get to serious adjectives and ridiculous names with more than 2 words, it's way over the top, and frankly, obnoxious. It's like:
"oh hey i like black-death-blood-murder-scene-core-trash-metal"
"oh, i like Bloody death-blackened crime scene-murdercore metal"
"oh, well then we can't be friends, because my favorite genre has less hyphens than yours, and your genre has one more note in the one song that its in my genre because a band decided it would classify its song in it."
