Zlatý Klas is one of a few Prague restaurants that offer fresh tank beer, which does not include any preservatives and is not pumped through pipes by carbon dioxide. The Pilsner Urquell beer is stored in 500-liter tanks that are exhibited behind a glass window in the middle of the restaurant and must be emptied within a week otherwise it will spoil. That’s why the restaurant, located not far from the city center in the And--l neighborhood, has to be busy all the time.
