The Mason Jar and Kickballers present Washington D.C.'s first exhibit/charity auction to feature artwork on toys. The Mason Jar focuses on diverse, creative projects, which generate proceeds for various charities. The Mason Jar boasts a slogan of "Consciousness & Caring through Creativity" & through the "Say Whaaat" exhibit/auction The Mason Jar invites the Washington D.C. area & online EBay community to take this excellent opportunity to contribute positively & share in that same ideal.
The exhibit was held on December 13-16th, 2007 at the Kickballers store, in Washington D.C.'s popular neighborhood of Georgetown. The "Say Whaaat!" exhibit was moved to the ArtWhino gallery located in Alexandria VA and will be on display from December 18th - January 25th. There will be a closing ceremony/party for the "Say Whaaat!" exhibit on January 25th at ArtWhino, as well as public access during gallery hours (Sat. & Sun. Noon-6 PM). If you live in the DC/MD/VA area please visit the exhibit at:
ArtWhino Gallery - 717 N. Saint Asaph St. - Alexandria VA. 22314 - www.artwhino.com
The "Say Whaaat" exhibit will auction all custom toys created by artists on EBay to generate proceeds to donate to charity. 100% of all auction sales will go entirely (minus shipping) to charity. The Capital Area Food Bank is the chosen charity as the recipient of funds generated by toy sales. This event establishes an avenue for artists to use their creativity to generate a greater good and EBay & Mission Fish establish the platform wonderfully.
