Make sure you use bar end plugs on your handlebars! Don't do what this poor chap did.

Yep, that's indeed what happened!!! If you ride, eventually you will fall. I don't care whether it is while doing a trick or merely avoiding the natural obstacles that confront even the casual cyclist (curbs, sand, oblivious pedestrians, oblivious motorists, etc.). You will fall. And if you fall with open bar ends then you run the risk of goring yourself.
So ride hard, but do it safe and smart!
