Hey Y'all Due to unforseen and unavoidable circumstances tomorrows performance as part of 'Guitarfest' at Birmingham NIA will be acoustic. This was an absolute last resort for us, the only other option was to pull out of the show altogether and that just wasn't going to happen. We are gutted that we won't be able to deliver the full rock assault to the good people of Guitarfest but, as they say, the show must go on so don't be shy, get down the front................WE'RE HAVING A JAMBOREE!!!! For me this was the highlight of the guitarfest. A totally unexpected acoustic set but unfortunately nowhere near long enough. The Guitarfest itself was a complete waste of time but it was worth the 100mile plus journey and the entrance fee to see (almost all) the Stone Gods. Loved 'em supporting Airbourne last year where the Liverpool crowd gave them the raucous reception they thoroughly deserved, unlike the polite clapping from acouple of hundred spectators at the 'fest. Great that the band made time to speak with the fans after (many thanks) shame Richie didn't join in tho'. "Where's the bald guy asked my 10 year old?" who is also a fan. It may be an idea to release a limited edition bonus disc of acoustic versions with the next album?
Looking forward to the next UK tour and album. Make sure you hit the northwest !

Hope you had a great time, I would have loved to have been there, but I was taking part in Norwich's Lord Mayors Procession with the other parents and kids from my sons nursery.

Lucky bastards.  I'd give anything to see you guys play, even if you're having to HUM the songs.

Good for you lads! Dont let them take you alive! You're acoustic stuff is brilliant anyway. Have fun, and that goes to the band and any lucky people who are going to watch. Love you all. xXx
