The ridiculously prolific Luke Rathborne, has only existed on this earth for a mere 21 years, and has already found himself with a body load of work. His heavenly but haunting melodies and tales will leave you reawakened to a sound and intimacy that surpasses artists twice his age. Rathborne relocated to New York from the deep woods & shallow waters of Brunswick, Maine in August, 2006. He couch-surfed through the upper boroughs of the city before moving into the dark abandoned loft, of Charlie Pineapple Theater Company in Brooklyn. In 2007, his self-released debut album "After Dark" led to praise-worthy features in Interview Magazine, and

Presently, he's putting the finishing touches on a second LP, a notable departure from his first effort with lush string arrangements and orchestral woodwinds and brass filling out the more stripped-down sound left from his initial release.

“..Like Bob Dylan, Lou Reed or Will Oldham, why should you expect anything else but constant haunting, and engaging development.” –

Then a special show with
