Torn Between Two

I know this much to be true,

I'm torn between two,

When I see you every day,

I'm hoping you'll gaze my way,

You catch me by surprise,

And for a heavenly second I stare into your eyes,

But this moment is quickly finished,

And the smile on my face has diminished,

All this ruined because another guy walked by,

I'm not good enough for you, inside I want to die,

Every day you hurt me more,

Pull my heart in your tug-o-war,

I don't know how much longer I'll take it,

Give up on you? Or do like last time and fake it?

As long as I try to get you out of my head,

 I picture life without you, but I'd rather be dead,

But my love for you is here to stay,

And I guess I'll accept you don't feel the same way...

I thought I was torn between two,

But when I think about it, my heart is torn solely on you.
