Wow, I can't believe it's been seven months since I've updated this blog. I guess I was spending all my spare time manically hitting refresh on fivethirtyeight.com. Thankfully, the election turned out the way it did, and we can get on with our musicmaking and other fun exploits.

So since my last post, the Speed Racer DVD and Blu-Ray have been released. I scored the bonus features on the discs, including "Supercharged," "Spritle in the Big Leagues," and "Car-Fu." I also scored the 30-minute mockumentary "The Amazing Racer Family" which I've heard will be a Japan-only release, but don't quote me on that.

I've also been working as an assistant music editor on the new Wachowski/Joel Silver-produced James McTeigue film Ninja Assassin here in Chicago.

I also recently signed on to score promo materials and DVD featurettes for the upcoming Frank Miller blockbuster, The Spirit, starring Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Gabriel Macht and Eva Mendes. I will keep you updated as materials are released.

I've also been enlisted to produce a track on Ami Saraiya's solo debut CD which also includes some of Chicago's most talented musicians and producers. Look for the CD some time soon!
