Dear Friends,
For those of you that aren't aware, much to your surprise, my job doesn't JUST revolve around wine and fun parties! Earlier this week a contingent of farm and wine people made a trip down to Washington DC in support of Sen. Clinton's 7th Annual NY Farm Days. This event (which is somewhat about wine and fun parties, quite honestly) helps remind/inform elected officials, paid congressional staff and other invite-only DC residents that NY is about a TON more than Wall Street and Manhattan! Amazing how many people still harbor the delusion that there is New York City and Niagara Falls, and nothing else between. That we are one of the bigger agricultural states as well.
