Well the weekend started out great. Mom and I took the kids to see This Is It. Auggie wasn't feeling to good so I missed alot of it, but I've seen it once already so it was okay. The kids looooooved it. (Thanks MJ). And then we all met up at Taco Bell - woo! :)

But then Saturday morning we discovered that Jacob's turtle Franklin had passed. I guess he wasn't healthy enough for hibernating this year. Jacob has taken care of that little guy for 5 years (since it was the size of a quarter). The other turtle had flown the coop and I think they ate our fish... But Franklin was here a long time. We had a little funeral for him and buried him in a pretty box which Jake wrote a goodbye message on. He called my mom and they all came over. He cried with my sis for awhile, he knew she could relate because she just lost all 3 of her boys (big cats)... it was tough.

The kids got alot of playtime in the backyard. Jacob likes to swing - It gets his mind off of things. And Rachel likes to play in the dirt! Auggie swings, or 'ings' as she would say, in her toddler swing on the deck. 

Ah, I love them. They are so smart and funny. And Cute!! They are unique and talented (they must've got it all from daddy, lemme tell ya..)

All in all the first week of being 26 was busy and crazy and I loved it. I'm all positivity now, its a brand new year (Halloween kicked butt btw!!!!!!!!)

Oh and I'm on Twitter now (evil!) I felt like following Kenny Ortega around but I didn't want to get accused of stalking so I had no choice. lol. Just look for AmberKinion.
