Hey you guuuys!
So, we've been really quiet for a long time, concentrating on songwriting and running about writing and recording with a host of different people. All very different results, but all cool!
I guess the most news-worthy stuff is the co-writing with Groove Armada. Saintsaviour (our lead singer) got involved with them a few months ago on their January EP release, and ended up being in on their new album too. Throughout the months of writing and recording for it, the album has developed into something even we are surprised at, in the positive sense. The boys have tried something completely new and by heck, it's worked. There's a track for every single mood of the human psyche on there, making it the perfect soundtrack to our life in recent weeks! We really can't say which one is our favourite yet. Featuring lashings of live drums, guitar and bass, moody punk-esque vocals and gorgeous Numanesque analog synths to fatten everything up, it's good times ahoy for Becky, who's going to be fronting the live show!
Any of you who like a good old knees up and live near London, you'd be mad to miss us play Lovebox this year. We are playing on the Sunday on the Gaymers stage at 12.45, and then Becky will be helping Groove reveal a sneaky peek at some of the new music, (which is already being dubbed by the pluggers as the best music they have ever made!!) during their headline slot on the main stage.
She went to get her Ziggy Stardust style catsuit fitted yesterday with Pam Hogg.
http://www.pamhogg.com/ in preparation, which was amazing!
If that's not enough, you got Ladyhawke, Duran Duran, Doves, New York Dolls, Florence and the Machine, NERD, and Friendly Fires.
