Ride For A Cure Group

Well were almost up to 100 in our Group.
For those of you who don’t Know about us.
Let me explain something. Gayle the lady I was with for
7 years Died of Breast cancer <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />..September 14th 2006... It hit me really hard.
I talked with Family and Friends and we discussed how I hope no one ever has to
Lose a loved one to this Terrible Disease.
We contacted the American cancer society and told of our plans
To have a Poker Run Benefit with all Proceeds going to
The American Cancer Society. My niece Shawn filled out a lot
Of paper work and I had quite a few calls to ACS before this
Was approved. With The help of Shawn, Fred, Tammy ,Kenny, Charity ,Rich, Jimmer ,Jerri, Robin,
Linda Rae, Kath ,and her Friends from ....Omaha..... My Niece Julie and her Husbands
Band we handed the ACS a check of over Two Thousand Dollars.
That was our first year .we probably had about 20 people from myspace in our
Group at that time. Now we have close to 100 from Us and ....Canada....
With the help of my Family and her family and lots of good
Friends from ....Nebraska.... and ....Illinois.... now all over the country.
We Hope to have a Real Good Event this Year. I would like to mention to
The people that know Tammy(Princess) and Kenny(Poppa Smurf) Tammy
Came down with Cancer last year right at the peak of our Event. She did not let it slow her down one bit. Im Glad to say that almost a year later Tammy is a cancer survivor and
Tough as nails I might add. I just want to thank all of you from last year and all the new people helping this Year. Some of the new people Rhonda (my lady friend) she is a cancer Survivor. Dan,C, And many more.
