Sorry I haven't had a chance to write to my friends. I had a big weekend. I was busy learning to swim! My mom showed me everything and now I'm pretty ok at it. I'm still really fat so I float up to the surface easily and it's hard for me to stay under water, but at least I'm a bit better at escaping from hunters. When I see a hunting boat coming I start swimming the other way until I find a new hiding spot.

So far I have swum away from at least four boats and I'm very proud of myself. But I can't go as fast as the boats can so I'm still scared. I made friends with another baby seal yesterday and we had some races to practice going fast. I won two out of three races!

I'm going to go practice swimming some more now. Talk to you soon!

Good for you Sunny! My prayers are still with you and yours. I wish I could be there on the ice to help you in person. I will tell all my friends not to use Omega 3 supplements. Love you.

OH SUNNY ... GOOD JOB!!!!  We're all VERY proud of you!!!  Now it'll be easier for you to hide from those SOB's!!!  Try to teach your friends too!!!

And like you said about the Omega 3 ... there's plenty of other ways to obtain it!!!  There's absolutely NO VALID REASON that any of you should have to suffer this way, EVER!!!!

LOVE YOU LITTLE ONE!!!  STAY SAFE!!!!!!!

My dear Sunny!!!!!! I wish I could be there watching you swim graciously! Believe me I would also put my body between your friends and the KILLERS, I couldn't be as proffessional as our wonderful seal defender, Rebecca. We are also campaigning to tell other humans that the intake of omega3 should be ethically sourced and no animal should be killed for that! A big kiss to your mom and buddies and, of course, to you, little friend we love you

Congratulations on learning how to swim!!  How exciting for you!
There are so many ways people can keep healthy without resorting to putting animals through cruelty and torture.  Omega 3 supplements is not worth this kind of expense.

Stay safe, sweetie!!

Oh Sunny, it is WONDERFUL to hear from you!  It gives us "loving" humans hope... perhaps if YOU were able to swim away from these horrible people, then maybe thousands of OTHER babies were able to muster up their strength and courage to swim away also!  Oh, we are so proud of you, little one!!!

And don't forget, you have many thousands of new friends all over the world who will keep fighting for you until this STOPS... and we will not give up until you baby seals once again retain your right for freedom... to LIVE!  We love you and all the other seals, Sunny, hang in there, we are doing everything we can to expose this madness and cruelty to the rest of the world... keep the faith... you are a HERO, Sunny!

With all my heart...

~Tra and The Xchange

P.S.  I have written letters to Wegman's supermarket (to stop purchasing seafood from Canada) and also to Tyra Banks and her production company asking for their help... perhaps Tyra can become a mouthpiece for the fashion industry to understand the incredible cruelty that their desire for "fur" really causes for you sweet, innocent babies... let's keep our fingers crossed!

Congrats on learning to swim!  My thoughts are with you Sunny - stay safe little one!  I curse the hunters with every fiber of my being - may they all die horribly in massive arctic typhoons and never get to slaughter another living creature - you and your fellow seals' lives mean far more to me than some scumbag "hunter"!

I'm so happy for you Buddy.

This is the best news I've heard in weeks. Seriously.I'm so happy and this means you'll be with us all for a long time. Keep practicing. I was so afraid to lose you once I added you as a friend, now I'm so glad to be there for you. Alot of People are STILL fighting for ya. Before My Dogs and I left the Vet, I passed info to her to get more support for you guys. I'd like to know also, what any supplement products are used. I try to be as Animal friendly with the products I use also. Keep safe and thanks for your updates.

You dear, sweet honey, I am so glad to hear the good news.  I have worried when you didn't write every day.

Keep your chin up and stay safe.  We need you to tell the world your story and stop the madness.  You are a hero too, just like Rebecca and Wayne and your Mom and Dad and all of your other friends that are working to protect you beautiful animals.

Your friends in California.

Hey Sunny,
We are all very proud of you! You just keep swimming and stay far away from the boats and those evil men, tell your friends to do the same. Hang in there, you have lots of people who love you and we are working hard to spread the word about what's going on in your home. Hopefully this time next year the seal hunt will be nothing more than a bad memory. Love you, Andrea

Hi Sunny! I am so glad to hear that you can swim. I love to swim, too. Don't you worry about those big boats...soon you will be diving and staying down. I don't know any fisherman that like to swim, so they won't be swimming or diving after you. You just keep practicing and stay safe...they will be gone soon. I will pray for your happy little heart every night! God Bless you. You are truly beautiful! Your new friend, Keukagirl.

P.S. I hate Canadian seafood...YUCK!

Hi Sunny-I'm glad you had a nice day and I'm so glad your staying far away from those hunters because they are such awful people. I'd like to meet my bunny. Her name is Binky and I've been telling her all about you. She hopes you and the rest of your family stay safe from those terrible hunters. Everyday I read Rebecca Aldworth's journal about the goings on at your home The Gulf of St. Lawrence and it so sad.  Our hearts go out to you and your fellow Harp Seals. I personally hope that these hunters get what they deserve because what goes around comes around!!!!      Love you and talk to you later Peggy, Binky and family. xo xo xo!!!

Sunny, you just made my day. I knew you could learn to swim. I am very proud of you! The more you practice your swimming, the better you will get at it. Sunny, you had it in you all along. You're a survivor! You will get through this! Now, that you can swim, it will be easier for you to out wit those evil sealers. As soon as you see and/or hear the boats approaching, you swim as far away from them as possible. We will continue fighting for you and the seal population.

Kudos to you, brave Sunny! We love you bunches!
