It is the dream of Lisa and Marc Biales to have a place for national and regional touring musicians to have a place to play, stay, perform and refuel while on that long and weary road.
The Big Song Music House is an intimate 75-seat concert house presenting performers who fall into the wide-ranging genres of folk, acoustic and roots music.
The Big Song Music House is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and stage lighting. A burgundy velvet semi-circular curtain closes to set the stage. A 1930’s Wurlitzer Butterfly Baby Grand Piano restrung and is in excellent working order. The piano has been in Lisa’s family since 1960, she heard stories that came out of a bar. It was refurbished completely on the inside, the soundboard is in great condition, however, the cigarette burns and beer stains are still visible.
The Big Song Music House is situated on sixty-two beautiful acres in Southwestern Ohio. Groomed walking trails make it easy to take a self-guided tour of wildflowers, birds, butterflies, turtles, trees and insects. One trail leads to “Luke-Warm” Lovers Leap, while another leads to “Blind Man’s Bluff.” Discover Dragon Creek, Faerie Land or walk the Prairie Labyrinth. This is sacred ground and we feel honored to be “stewards of this here land.”
The doors will open one hour before the show unless otherwise noted. BYOB. Coffee, tee, water and light snacks are provided.
