Hello friends,

It's been a while since our last show, since we've been taking some time off to work on other creative projects, site-redesigns, and working on new ways to promote the album. 

For our next show, Of The I will be opening for the very talented Pure Reason Revolution at Dingwall's, Camden on March 17th.  They're a great band and we're very pleased to be playing with them.

As I said, we're currently focusing more on new ways to get the word out there, so shows are going to be a bit less frequent than before, but we're hoping to land some festival slots in the summer, and are thinking about touring the UK/Europe as well.

Our projects involve launching a new video section and a reorganisation of our website, which we hope to have ready very soon, and this will include some footage of us during our last mini-tour, as well as an acoustic rendition of one of our songs, recorded right here at the Of The I HQ in London.

Titled "Blog Of The I" the main focus will be on our various musings on identity, self-awareness, personal development, and all things related to the concept of the 'I'.  While these ideas have certainly influenced our musical output, we thought it would be nice to have a place where we could discuss them in more depth, drawing on our investigations in psychology, philosophy, and life in general.  We'd love for you to join in the discussions, so feel free to leave comments.  We will respond. 

Last but not least, next month's issue of Metal Hammer (March cover-date, out Feb 11th) will feature a review of 'Balance Instars'.  We think it's great that big magazines still leave room for new/underground bands, so our thanks go out to the Reviews team at Metal Hammer.
