We just posted a (very crap quality-sorry) live recording from our show last March at agnes b. in Los Angeles. The song is called "I Wish God Were Alive To See This" and it's named after our friend Cali's blog. Why did we post? Well, we really like the song! We've also found that when you read the lyrics along with listening it enhances the experience ten-fold, so here they are.

I Wish God Were Alive To See This

Look at me...the way you look upon the sea.
Far away infinity.
Oh whoa what to do?

Turn it up. Little one.
Turn your face up towards the sun.
Oh whoa what to do?

But...
Every time you turn away...that's all.
The walls come tumbling down and fall.
And all I say to you is...

Making plans.
With all the possibilities of...
So you can see today.
Oh whoa what to do?

Turn me on. Let me down.
Paint your face up like a clown.
Oh whoa what to do?

But...
Every time you turn away...that's all.
The walls come tumbling down and fall.
And all I say to you is...

(chorus)
How is your life these days?
Victim of happen-stance.
Free today...all for you!

I wish god were alive to see this.
To see what I see.
Oh whoa what to do?

Turn it over. Little one.
Cause you know that nothing's certain.
Oh whoa what to do?

But...
Every time you turn away...that's all.
The walls come tumbling down and fall.
And all I say to you is...

(chorus)
How is your life these days?
Victim of happen-stance.
Free today...all for you!

Sometimes I'm masculine and feminine.
Sometimes I'm feminine and masculine.
Sometimes I'm masculine and feminine.
Sometimes. Sometimes.

Though the world is on my shoulders.
And you know it breaks my heart.
I guess that's how it goes when scenes fall apart.
Look into this dusty mirror, but I'm not sure what I see.
And staring at this lonely crowd.
Everyone's in love but me.
