Important!

This blog is intended primarily for buyers of Neonbeam Magazine, however it is strongly recommended that ANYONE who uses Lulu reads this.

It has come to my attention, from two different contributors of NB7, that print copies of the issue they bought from Lulu.com had the pages ordered incorrectly. I have checked all "print-ready" documents that were uploaded to Lulu (and the PDF edition which is taken directly from the print version) and the pages were (and are) in the correct order prior to publication. Therefore, this is Lulu's printing error - I assume they printed a batch and binded them incorrectly, as the copy I received was accurate.

The first contributor to contact me with this problem also contacted Lulu Support, who are sending another copy to her, free of charge. For anyone else who has experienced this issue with print copies, in the first instance please also contact Lulu (they will need your order number). If Lulu won't send replacement copies, or you have any further problems after contacting them, please let me know and I'll do what I can (email: sammi@neonbeam.org).

I'm extremely sorry about this inconvenience. I am furious with Lulu for this error, especially since their prices have recently increased, and no longer intend to use them to publish Neonbeam. I am not yet sure of an alternative, or whether the magazine will have to be suspended, but I would suggest to anyone who uses Lulu to publish material to be VERY wary of their seemingly decreasing service standards!
