Wowie wow wow. I love it. Another dystopian masterpiece.
As usual, your obsessiveness knows no bounds.
Delusional indeed. I adore that they are all the same and yet so different.
I wish I knew what they were waiting for or who was hovering above them. But of course, maybe I don't really want to know.

interesting...so why is the only black/minority crouched. They all do look related though and the men are all sitting in the back of the bus. hmmm. They either have perfect vision or none at all. Very nice.

have to say...
kind of felt like one of these when i made the request to be added to your friends list. hahaha.

Well that's interesting! I hadn't thought of different races. I only think of W.A.S.P.s as delusional, and the guy crouching is just in shadow, not African-American. He's also the only one not looking up.

(I hope you don't feel like one of the herd now that you've joined my Friends, but extremely COOL)

This is Great, Ms. L, you might laugh but this reminds me of an old fashioned Movie Theatre-with the projectionist in the back...the fact that the audience is "all-the-same" [stick one individual in the group]-lol, It has a very Apocalyptic Feeling...Excellent!

The work itself is incredible and the idea is thought provoking and funny. Bunch of dumb followers looking in the wrong direction. Probably looking up on to a stage where an evangelist is explaining that they need to collect more money so that they can be saved, whilst the saving light is shining behind them.

This is amazing and always leaves me asking WTF? If you stare at this for awhile and just shift your eyes around to each face, as I am sure one cannot help but do upon looking, then you start to really get the heebie jeebies. It creates a sense of movement. As though 'they' are moving. I think the similarity in their faces creates a motion picture affect or something. Of course I love the " Victorian plated" look to the sky. It's like a star saphire that illuminates and moves. Just like an old plate. It's incredibly beautiful.

Nietzsche's International Cafe

Hi Laurie... thanks for the add!
We at Nietzsche's International Cafe´ have been arguing about this artwork tonight. Since we can never agree on anything usually, it came as a surprise to all of us that we finally agreed on this subject.
We determined that this artwork represents the 30% of Americans who actually vote for presidential elections and thus are the Delusion Dwellers!
Best,
NIC
