Dearest fans and friends,
It has been our immense pleasure to write, record, and perform music for you all over the past year and a half. Whether from your kind words on our myspace, youtube channel, twitter, or facebook, your clapping along to Hurricane, or singing “La la la!” with us on Giving Tree, or most importantly, your talking to us after shows and telling us what you thought, we’ll certainly be looking back at all of our interactions with you very fondly.
It is with heavy heart that we inform you that the five of us are no longer to be playing together as Django James and the Midnight Squires. While we are all still friends and will likely be playing together in different combinations in the future, for now, this project has ended.
We appreciate your support in this time that has been difficult for all of us and ask that you stay tuned to our online sources for updates about our post DJATMS projects.
In the meantime, we’d all like you to check out Sam Stewart (Django’s brother) who writes incredible songs and will be replacing us for all the shows we’re leaving unplayed in July (starting this Sunday at Cinespace with The Jakes) His music can be found here: http://www.myspace.com/samuelstewartmusic
We’ll still be checking the myspace, so any messages or correspondence you desire to send us WILL be received.

Sincerely, Django, Matt, Casey, Scott and Spike
