an Ally. Be the Change.
It’s time to get ready for this year’s Ally Week, October 19-23.
GLSEN and students across the county will celebrate with various
activities in schools and communities nationwide. It’s a great way to encourage
other students, family and friends to be allies against anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgender) language, bullying and harassment in America’s
schools.
Once you know who your allies are, you can be more effective in making
schools safe for all. Here are three things you can do:
Get FREE products, just register at
studentorganizing.org! Sign up for
your Ally Week activities by
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8th and GLSEN will send
you a packet that includes buttons, posters and stickers for your Ally Week
activities. Supplies are limited. Go

Get organizing tools at
AllyWeek.org to help make your Ally Week a
success. You can download action tools, sticker templates, sample letters and
more!
