Every hurricane season the people of Haiti get hit with devastation that we cannot even begin to imagine.  Unlike us, they cannot flock to the nearest Publix and stock up on supplies or storm the closest Home Depot and rebuild their homes.  They have NOTHING.
 
Every year the Coffee House Gypsies band gives money for the purchase of food, medicines, and supplies for the people of Haiti.  CHG Band members personally oversee the packaging and sending of these things from a building in downtown Miami.  These goods get shipped to Haiti and then get distributed to the people that need it, under supervised conitions that are out of the hands of corrupt Haitian officials that might attempt to intercept such help.
 
After each distribution, they bring us back photos of the kids and people that the help was distributed to.  The above photo is one of these pictures.  These are the guys that handle the purchases, the shipments, the ditribution to the people of Haiti, and the taking of the photos they bring back:
