So we beat Silent Hill: Homecoming. Here's my rant... if you can call it that.
First off all the controls were interesting. The camera pans now so the traditional scary angles are gone from the origs. It reminded me of Spyro; Dawn Of The Dragon. Watching my mom and Corey try to figure it out was interesting. On top of that, I'm inverted and you can't change that in the game. As usual the bosses were tough and you always were stuck with little hp. So nothing new there.
I felt like this installment was just a stretch off the movie. Idn what happened, I read it somewhere in GameInformer, but Konami did not make Homecoming.
Foundation 9 Studio/Double Helix Games did. The movie is (in my opinion) supposed to give you a little more insite to just how crazy "The Order" is. It didn't stay within the video game story lines though. It was just sweet as shit to watch. Homecoming on the other hand mentions things from the movie. Not from past video games. You even fight the gas mask people from the movie.. which was sorta lame in my opinion. The walls turned when a siren went off and you see Pyramid head... which they decided to call him "The Boogey Man" in this one. You can't make a Mario game and call Bowser "Mr. Evil Turtle".
Worth the play though. At least the demons didn't burp in this one. harhar.
