Recently, I got the opportunity work a casino in Laughlin. It’s omething I’ve been wanting to do for a while (the whole Nevada/Vegas/Laughlin thing). It was a long 5 hour drive from CA to Nevada so when I got to my room I did what I normally do after a long road trip, I picked up the entertainment magazine you find in most every Vegas hotel room, then hit the restroom for some easy reading and relaxation. To my surprise there in the middle of the magazine was a nice big article about my favorite comedian, ME!
Just sharing because I thought it was cool that thousands of people that week would be sitting on their toilets in their hotel just like me... reading about me.
It seems like with comedy there are a lot of mile stones. Your first open mic, your first showcase, your one hundredth show, your one thousandth show. Maybe it’s getting to perform on a stage you never thought you’d ever get to perform on. Some milestones are bigger than others, but there all pretty cool when you look back at what you’ve done. For me my latest milestone is sharing magazine space with Glenn Campbell, The Lettermen and toilet time with Laughlin.
