New track on the player is from a festival in Fischbach, southern Germany in about 1980, I think! (It's all a blur, honest, and a l-o-o-o-ong story...) I had to compress it to **** to fit it on the player, but the original sounds really good IMHO, so thought I'd share it with you.
Personnel are Gavin Da Blitz on synthis, Steffe on guitar and improvised vocals, Bernie Elliott on guitar, Rob Bougie on drums, and yours truly on bass...
Love to yz!

Great line up, I could listen to Rob Bougie on his own!!! What ever happned to him? Great drummer!!

First time I saw Here and Now was Reading uni ,I think 83 or 84, if you put up somthing from that gig it would make me and my old but reliable Kenwwood HI Fi very happy!!!!!?!!!!!!

Have you seen spotify.com yet? Its free or you can buy, nothing like choice!!!!!!! Floating Anarchy is on there but no Here and Now solo?!?!?!?!

Hey Phil,
Rob Bougie went on to drum for Karma Kannix, they have a CD out somewhere out there.

There is an excellent soundborad recording of Reading 1984 around. Keef refuses to acknowlegdge its greatness as allegedy you cant hear the bass. Bleedin egomaniac if you ask me ! hahaha

To Jon,
Thanks, yeah I would love a copy, would be like a sonic scrap book of a great memory! Your are in Aus arn't you? Do you want me to mail you some postage, s.a.e etc? My god I didn't think cassette tapes still exist!!

I hope life is good out there, went travelin for a year or so around 02, spent a bit of time in Aus, although I was drawn back to s. e. Asia!

Probably a long shot... and probably the wrong place to ask... I seem to recall seeing Karma Kannix at Stonehenge, something like 82 or maybe 83?? Anybody have any recording(s?) of that gig?

Thanks for that link Jon it's a real gem - great to hear Heart of the City again. My first Here and Now gig was a year later at Stonehenge so hearing all that free festy background noise brings back lovely memories :)
