Toddler Day & To Have Expectations
This is Feb 10 post on Xanga. Does anyone know if MySpace can import from RSS?

'noe, mommy!
A day all about my son.  Why not?  He's photogenic and always performing anyway!  He has been more than happy about having snow all around to play with.  He even ignored child labor laws and went to work on the driveway... think he'll still be so eager at 12 or 16??  He definitely enjoys sledding, though while being pulled along the trail he would randomly roll out.  Snowman-making, sledding, shoveling, hiking, snowball fights, playing with construction trucks on the snow-covered porch... I'd say he's had a full winter in this week alone.  All we needed was a fort-building afternoon!  Do you ever find yourself still wanting to build snow forts (or find yourself actually doing it)?

I finally am able to make MPEG-4 movie files, so now I'll be posting videos!  The quality isn't quite there, as it's from my camera phone.  The video above is what I found Cole doing behind a curtain one day.  What do you think???

Down the Wintery Path
Down the Wintery Path

What if every believer... Part 7
What if every believer expected God to do His part?  We know that everything of us is completely owned by Him and that He will enable us to love as He does, so why don't we expect that when we do His work that He will make use of it?  Let's not confuse doing His work with doing work we want Him to do.  No, when we set out to do the things that He's led us to do, we should expect results.  Sharing your faith in Him, taking time privately to know Him more, helping someone suffering... There will be times He leads us NOT to do something, but what we are led to do... we should do and expect that God will be working something through it!  Faith.  Even as small as a mustard seed.  Yet so often the "easier" road is taken, which requires no faith and no expectation but leads nowhere.  Imagine if the entire body of believers expected God do when each does for Him.  Imagine the effects that would have.
