Current mood:  hungry
i was just sitting here strumming on my guitar while watching "Intervention" on A&E and as the notes of "Inadvertant Harm caused By Me" were plucked by me i thought of the show the other night w/ Joe at Marc w/ a C's b-day show.  it was so much fun and i must say- the Taste was packed beyond what i'd ever seen.  the line-up was Chris Zabriskie and then me and then Marc w/ a C
Cris Zabriskie played a show where it felt like it was just me and him chilling in a living room jamming. the songs he chose were great. shit Joe was impressed which says alot.    speaking of Joe- I played second at the request of Marc. when Marc asked me to play a month ago, he asked if Joe could play too and he really pushed this thing into happening. kudos for that Marc. it was your own present to yourself. so after a tech- problem laden start i played a few solo songs ending w/ a particularly something version of "Steve Garron" i had Joe Panton join me on bass to have a semi-Precious reunion. songs played were "Youth and the Drug Explosion" , "Inadvertant Harm Caused By Me" , "Overcometh" - requested by Marc, "Sire" (w/ great harmony vocals by Joe) and then a rousing  falsetto/not screaming version of "Seville Complex".
it was really fun. i can almost predict a full Precious reunion show by the end of '09. we'll prob post a video of the semi-Precious show soon. thanks Marc and Joe for the kind words. the fans/freinds that did get to come and Marc and Joe again for all the old times. lots o' memories come out when joe and I hang out. last time he reminded me of when we played at the Mill w/ our old drummer, like the 2nd? Precious show. anyways after the show the other bands' lead singer ripped off the money by literally running out the door and into the night. Joe reminded that we got my huge neighbor to go over and muscle our money back from said lead singer. fucking lead singers. there are other stories about that particular local legend / lead singer though. ahh the good old days.
anyways, off to watch The City. love Steve

I was there for that story. The good old Mill.... So bummed I missed the semi-Precious reunion. I definitely want a shirt. :) Make sure you give plenty of notice if/when a full reunion happens in 2009 so I can make sure I come back for the show.
I mean if Phish can reunite!
