I want to say hello to all of you wonderful friends who make living my dream so great!

In today's music world, alot of times music is classified so much that we forget what music is really about. We all fall victim to the 'definitions' music labels place on music, but the closet one I could find to describe THIS album is 'Nostalgic Soul Music'.

The writer/producer of the project is a veteran from the "Philly Soul" generation, and has been in the industry for over 45 years. So if my music has that 'old-school' feel to it, that is where it comes from. That is the era that inspires me, and that I train and learn from. Of course I am from the "Hip Hop" generation so it really makes me stick out...(and yes, in my personal time, I listen to everything!)

My entire goal in life was never to be the best R&B singer, Pop Singer, ect.....

It was to be a great singer.....period.

When people buy my albums with their hard earned money I want to continue to grow so that each album is a unique piece in itself.

Some albums, I am going to do some writing, this album I chose not to.

Perfecting my craft for me involved 'listening' to some one who has a better understanding of music, and allows me to grow into an artist that will carefully make sure I never go outside of my boundaries.

People always use the argument to 'today's' artist that they should be a singer/writer/director/everything else. And for some, it works out great.

But my goal is to 'perfect' one craft, before I move on to the next. Of course publishing/writing is where a great portion of money is earned in the music business, so writing my own songs of course would prove beneficial for me in the long run. But you have to also remember that greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion never wrote a song in their career....and I dare you to ask Celine if she is broke..lol.

So I am using this time to perfect my voice, my gift from above.

I understand everyone is not going to understand the music I choose to sing to.

You don't even have to like all my songs...but right now I am making sure the one thing you can NEVER tell me is that I cannot SING.

And that is all I am here to do.
