GaragePunkNYCThis new site has a calendar with ALL the shows and dj nights featuring 60's garage rock, 70's punk, 50's/60's/70's soul & r'n'b music you'll want to catch in the NY area, plus info on venues (in case you're looking to book a show up here), a map of area record stores, and a blog with our recommendations for the coming week (we promise to recommend shows BESIDES hullabaloo! really!)
There are also forums so you talk to other garage/punkers and post show announcements etc.
The point of this project is to bring more eyes and ears to the GOOD music here in NY, so PLEASE pass on to your friends.
