Let go of the things of this world
The lust for physical pleasure
The desire for everything you see

For this world is fading away, along with everything it craves.

Holdfast in what you believe
There's doubt in your mind, fuelled by their lies
You know what lives inside, is what died to set you free.
Too often we can let materialism, or our own selfish wants take us away from our true focus and desires for our lives. Stand firm and bold in the things you would die for. Live it out, in all areas of life. Get passionate about what you believe.
If your mouth says one thing and your actions speak another because you're too tied up in the trends of the world, re-evaluate the things you are saying. "Does this speak truth to me?" If so, fully commit to what ya spreading because who will trust and follow an unreliable hypocrite?
Bringing this into perspective and reality - Us Christian kids of this scene. How many times do we see dudes babble on about Jesus being the King in their life, then go off and totally contradict everything they say they stand for, through their actions and constant slander towards others.
Or, how many of these kids do we know attend Church and truely believe in the living God and Jesus Christ. But fear being mocked and are too afraid to speak/live out their truth within them because the crowd around them think and act differently.
I'm not saying I'm an example of perfection because I'm full of mistakes.... Every day.. What I am saying is, lets build some encouragement to stand firm in everything we truely believe.
