We're back in Jersey now. Got a few days off to regroup and do it all again. I've seen so much in the last month it's mind boggling. Two weeks ago, I stood on a pier on the Ocean and thought about everyone I miss. A couple days later, I got to enjoy the sights and sounds of a night in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Tried fried-green tomatos in Georgia. (loved em) Arrived in Richmond on a cold, rainy night to play a show for a few people. That few might has well have been 1000. It was great. I can't help but feel a sense of meloncholy of leaving and excitement of seeing a new place every single day. It's like packing up and moving 4 times a week. I love every minute of it. I love the fact my neck hurts from traveling. I love having to push myself through the rain and blackness and drive through a snow storm to end up in the beautiful scenery of Vermont. I love every person I meet. I love all the hospitality and humanity I've experienced. I love the fact that my feet stink cause I'm out of socks. I love the fact that sometimes I don't know where I'm sleeping. I love New York City. Taxi cabs, delis, cafes, traffic. The world is a much smaller place now. To those I've never met. I can't wait to meet you. To those I've met so far. It's been a pleasure. To all of you I left behind. I miss you.
