There are two new songs added to my profile page from 1975 during my tenure with Icarus.
At the foreground on both is leader Nick Bucci, lead vocals and lead guitar. Represented here is the funky side of Icarus and the twin guitar work of Nick & I. "Burlesque" is a cover of the British group Family. It and "Belbukus", a Rhinocerus cover, were recorded at our last rehearsal.
Icarus at this final stage was Nick Bucci (v.g1.) Hangnail Phillips (v.g2. sax) Rick Randall (v.b.) & Bill Dube (d.v.)
Six years after we went our various ways, Fine Times Magazine 2nd Annual Music Poll awarded Nick the well deserved title of "Best Lead Guitarist". And who was Nick's runner-up (and always happy to take second to Nick)? Yours truly.
