Many thanks to Professor McLaurin and her film studies class from Medgar Evers College (Brooklyn, NY) for inviting the "Lady Beat Makers Vol. 1." crew to their class for a screening and Q&A. Director Tachelle Wilkes and Producer, Stephanie "Diverse" Whitaker and Programming Manager, Alyce Emory represented in great style on April 25th. After the film screened, questions were taken from the students which evolved into a lively discussion on women and their role in Hip Hop music business.
