The group’s raison d’etre is to resurrect lost classics from the 80's New Wave music and reinterpret them in a saucy bossa nova style. Replacing the inherent broodiness and aggression of songs like The Dead Kennedy’s Too Drunk To F**k and Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart with insouciant Latino rhythms shouldn't work, but it really, really does.” says the BBC.
