Okay, I just finished watching the first episode of Heroes, after watching the second episode last night.  Yeah, I missed the opener but thank god for online viewing.  A happy thing whose time has way come.  At any rate, what is the deal with unhappy heroes?

Peter lost Simone in the first season.  Now Nathan is headed for divorce court and Parkman has already been there.  Did the writers decide that they needed to axe the wives to create better appeal for the characters or something with their female audience?  Do they really think that Peter, Hiro, Ando, and Mohinder weren't enough?  And quite frankly if that was the reason a scruffy looking Nathan isn't going to fit the bill.  Although for those out there that like TT&T's (Tall, Thin and Tortured) he certainly fits the bill.

Although I have to say that I AM pleased for Parkman now that he is a detective and raising Molly with Mohinder.  But still, is tv trying to tell us that you can't achieve your goals and be married?  What a crock!  Oh well, this is neither here nor there but it seems to me that the heroes deserve a little happiness.  Come on, they saved the world already but for what if there isn't a tiny glimmer of hope for them.  Okay, climbing down from my soap box.  Just thought I would throw that one out into the cosmos and see what comes back.

I do not watch TV. My husband does and sometimes I will get interested in what he is watching. I did get hooked on 24. We bought the 5 seasons and are waiting for the sixth to come out. Now they tell us because of the strike the seventh season on TV will not start in January like it suppose to.

The program is great action movie with love thrown in. The Hero is always loosing his women too. That is odd, I just thought about that now.

I think I liked the movie "True lies" the hero never lost his women.
