What a week I've just had!  On Saturday, March 18, 2006 I took off to Memphis, Tennessee.  That night I stayed with the ever awesome Jon and Miriam Wrye who I hadn't seen in 3 years!  We both had a lot of stories to tell and it was great to see them doing so well.  The next morning I rolled out to the Sycamore View Church of Christ to rhyme for the teenagers sunday school class.  It was great to be back with this group because I had been with them last summer for a week so I saw a ton of recognizable faces but not so many names!  Thanks to Ben Fulfer for making me feel so welcome.  Also, thanks to the Belles and Beaux's from Harding University (my alma mater) for putting on a great show on Sunday night!  The next day I hopped on Hwy 64 headed towards Searcy, Arkansas and an hour in I decided I would drive a little further to renezvous with Shades of Green and company in Lewsiville, Arkansas.  What  boring day that turned out to be!  SOG was coming a lot further away and I ended up with a lot of time to burn in Texarkarna where nothing was going on!  I thought I might go see a movie but there was nothing good!  Finally, I met up with them at about 10 PM in front of Tim's IGA and we all went to Otho and Wanda Green's house for the next two days.  Tuesday was so chill.  We basically stayed at the house all day and ate, mooed at cows and watch movies and American Idol.  My brother, Jeremy, was part of that whole entourage so it was great to be with him!  Finally, it was time to go to Tulsa!  We took off early on Wednesday morning and headed up through some rough toll roads (why do we have to pay to drive on these monters?!).  At some point, Amber Green arranged for me to drop Love's Story for some conveinience store ladies and SOG sang.  Good times were had by all!  After McDonalds (which wasn't good for all of us) we finally got into Tusla.  I broke off for a few hours to go set up at the Expo center and then we all met up at the First Christian Church in Owasso.  That was where I met the very good looking and funny Brad Montague.  It turned out that Shades of Green and Salient were playing at the same time in different rooms!  After all that, we all went down to the Expo for everyone to set up and we rolled in to our house at like midnight for roast beef!  Ina Vrooman is awesome!  Stay tuned. . .
