Johnny starts this month off back in Nashville with meetings, recordings and writing. Last month when he was in Nashville he completed 13 new songs. At the Colt Ford concert the band introduced one of the new songs; Love and Lightning, and the crowd loved it. If you have not been to the Spirit of the Suwannee for a concert you are missing out. They treat the bands and the audience very well, making it a great experience all around. Johnny will return to Orlando on the 12th.
September 5th Johnny will be performing an acoustic show in Monteagle for the State Finals for the Colgate Country Showdown. The gates open at 6 and the show starts at 7. Tickets are $10.
September 8th Johnny will be performing a writer's round at the Commodore Grill on West End in Nashville at 9pm. He will be in a round with Cathy Hussey and Dan Shaefer. September 13th Johnny will be judging the Orlando’s Got Talent competition at Cowboy’s Orlando. Johnny and the band will be playing at the end of the show. September 19th Johnny will be in Ocala at Legendz Gym to help them raise money. Johnny will be performing an acoustic show. The tickets are $10. For more info and tickets call 352-433-2088 or 352-427-8022.

Johnny leaves for Nashville on the 27th AGAIN for more meetings. So many of you have asked what Johnny has been doing. Well, he has a team of people in Nashville working with Johnny to get him ready for the next step in his career. One of the songs he wrote we’ve posted on his street team Myspace. Johnny wrote this song with Robert Arthur. If you are familiar with Johnny’s music, Robert also cowrote Don’t Be Afraid, Livin it Up and Time for That. Johnny wrote a song with Lisa Carver and she might be pitching it to Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland. Johnny is going in the studio on the 7th to demo the song.
