Rocker Sam Roberts recently participated in our Comfort Doll Project by
posing for a photo holding a comfort doll. We auctioned off two photos
(with buttons and guitar picks) and the results are now available.
The proceeds went to World Vision and we were able to purchase the following items from their Gift Catalog.
-2 mosquito nets that will protect up to 8 children from malaria
-antibiotics for 10 children to protect from childhood diseases
-textbooks for a teacher to be able to teach for a year
-school lunches for 50 children for a month
-3 soccer balls (the children often play with rocks or balled up plastic bags)

enjoyable... and for their participation and enthusiasm for our
