I drove my friend for about 4 hours today to get him to the right precinct to vote in Georgia. I stopped in a gas station while trying to find the small church for him to vote at. While there, I saw writing on the bathroom walls that said "Obama is a socialist.
Wake up America!"

I think it's time for the Right to realize why they lost. It's not black people, it's not a fad, it's not as if Socialism is Obama's mantra (it isn't, stop saying it is and read something), and Liberals are not being swindled into buying such an idea. It's not due to anything but the rejection of Conservative values in America.

Conservatism was executed perfectly during Bush's 8 years. It was practiced flawlessly and made into Patriot Acts and wars and struggles over letting gays have their right to pursue happiness in marriage, as stated by our founding fathers. It took 8 years, but it was finally found to be wholly incompatible with the American populace, and now it has been tossed out.

McCain lost because he wasn't the right person for the job. The Republicans lost because their policies are destroying the country. McCain's campaign failed because every single thing it did did not work, backfired completely, or didn't stick. The only thing that did stick was the fear of the Right voters, fueled by the desperate attempts of McCain-Palin to paint Obama, "that one", vilely.

To think McCain has the gall to call Obama honorable at his concession after the things he tossed at Obama just yesterday and the year before that. McCain's time is thankfully over for the nation and for himself, and now I hope he spends his years thinking about what he tried to pull over on the people he called "friends". I hope he is taken out to pasture, and I hope he can fall as softly as he can manage in the current Bush economy. On the bright side, John, I think Obama will make life easier for everyone starting in 2009, even you.

Let McCain's campaign stand as how not to run such things, let Bush's time in office show how not to run the country, and let the time Obama has in office represent what not to fear.

Yes, we did.

Seriously, you should be at GSU.

People are going apeshit.

And believe me...racism is alive in the dirty south.

Excellent blog btw!
