	Michael	I see your point and it's a really good one, but there are certain times when euthanizing and animal is justified. Now I'm completely against doing it just because a shelter is out of room or in peta's case just because they can. But there are times when a pet is sick or hurt and all you can do is either watch them suffer or have them put to sleep. I only say that because I've been put in that situation. I really hope the SPCA gets that building you mentioned someday because they need it, but who knows how long it will be before that happens. And they may not have special papers but they are just as loving, fun, obedient and loyal!!! 	Porch Monkey 4 Life	Sounds similar to those two workers at a PETA shelter in Virgina a couple years ago who tortured & killed dozens of animals who weren't even scheduled to be euthanized. They killed a whole pile of fucking dogs just because they are pits.. including pups!! 	Adam Adam Cline	I'm with you on this one. We bought my baby from a shelter, and he was skinny and scared and really small. In no time flat, he was the single most loved puppy in the entire world (not to mention excessively fat and spoiled rotten lol). 	Zombie	..Cant agree more. We currently have a pet cat that my sister rescued from her job (the poor thing had a rough "pup-hood") it was badly hurt, skinny and without an eye. We take it to the vet, patch her up and a year later, is just playing around the house (its name is "Lima") and making our lives a little more funny. Once you realize that animals are living companions (specially when you have a pet) you no longer care about "breed" "pure blood" or whatever.
